Ectoin
Ectoin is an extremolyte, a naturally occurring molecule associated with microorganisms that survive in challenging environments. It interacts strongly with water and is used in skincare to support hydration, the skin barrier and comfort. At 2%, Ectoin is a central part of HYDRALITE’s moisturising system. It helps care for skin that feels dehydrated or easily stressed without requiring a rich, oily texture.
AQUAXYL™ | ADVANCED HYDRATION TECHNOLOGY

Aquaxyl™ is a sugar derived moisturising complex developed to support the skin’s natural water balance through three complementary mechanisms: helping maintain the moisture barrier, supporting water reserves and improving water distribution within the epidermis. In HYDRALITE, Aquaxyl™ works alongside 2% Ectoin to create a comprehensive hydration system intended to leave skin feeling supple and comfortable without the weight of a rich cream.
TECA® CENTELLA COMPLEX | SOOTHING & SKIN CONDITIONING

TECA® is a purified, standardised fraction of Centella asiatica defined by three characteristic triterpenes. Rather than relying on an unspecified botanical extract, the formula includes these selected Centella constituents for skin conditioning and soothing care. TECA® complements the hydration system when skin feels tight, stressed or uncomfortable.
MAGNOLIA BARK EXTRACT | COMPLEXION COMFORT
Magnolia Officinalis Bark Extract
Magnolia bark contains characteristic botanical compounds, including magnolol and honokiol, which have been investigated for antioxidant activity. In HYDRALITE, the extract is included as a botanical skin conditioning ingredient and complements care for combination, blemish prone and easily stressed skin. Its presence does not make the product a treatment for acne or establish a measurable reduction in sebum production.
FERULIC ACID | ANTIOXIDANT SUPPORT
Ferulic Acid
Ferulic Acid is a phenolic antioxidant selected to complement the formula’s daily conditioning care. It works within the wider antioxidant system alongside Tocopherol (vitamin E). Ferulic Acid is not used here as an exfoliating acid, and HYDRALITE is not a substitute for sunscreen.
POLAR SKIN LIPIDS | LIGHTWEIGHT BARRIER CARE

These skin compatible lipid components complement the skin’s surface lipid environment. They are included to help condition the skin and reduce the dry or tight feel associated with insufficient moisturisation. HYDRALITE delivers lipid care without relying on CERAFX’s richer combination of five named ceramides, cholesterol and butter based emollients.
MEADOWFOAM ESTOLIDE & JOJOBA ESTERS | SOFTNESS WITHOUT HEAVINESS

ANTIOXIDANT CARE: Ferulic Acid, Tocopherol and Magnolia bark complement the formula with selected antioxidant ingredients.
WHAT TO EXPECT
HYDRALITE is designed to provide daily moisture without a rich, greasy finish. With regular use, skin can feel more hydrated, softer, smoother and less tight. It is intended to improve comfort and the appearance of dryness, rather than treat acne, medically impaired skin or pigmentation disorders. The precise degree of benefit will vary by skin type and routine.
WHO IS HYDRALITE FOR?
COMBINATION OR OILY SKIN: for daily hydration in a light fluid rather than a dense cream.
DEHYDRATED SKIN: for skin lacking water, even when it also produces excess sebum.
NORMAL SKIN: for lightweight daily moisturising care.
BLEMISH PRONE SKIN: for moisturising support without positioning the product as an acne treatment.
SENSITIVE FEELING SKIN: for a formula built around Ectoin, TECA®, Panthenol, Allantoin and Bisabolol. Individual tolerance still varies.
MATURE SKIN: for those who prefer a light moisturiser; CERAFX is better suited when richer lipid replenishment is the main goal.
HOW TO USE
Apply 1-2 pumps to clean skin in the morning and/or evening. Use after lightweight water based serums and before sunscreen in the morning. It can be used with targeted skincare treatments as the moisturising step. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Stop use if irritation occurs.

Yes. Its INCI constituents are Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol and Xylitol. Aquaxyl™ is one of the formula’s featured hydration technologies alongside 2% Ectoin.
What is the difference between Aquaxyl™ and Ectoin?
Both are selected for hydration, but they are not the same ingredient. Aquaxyl™ is a three sugar complex developed around the skin’s natural water balance. Ectoin is an extremolyte used to support hydration, barrier function and skin comfort. The two systems are complementary.
Can oily skin also be dehydrated?
Yes. Oil production and water content are different aspects of skin condition. HYDRALITE is designed to moisturise without the richer emollient profile of CERAFX.
Is HYDRALITE suitable for blemish prone skin?
It is intended to provide daily moisturising care for skin prone to visible blemishes. It is not an acne treatment and no claim is made that it clears breakouts or regulates sebum.
Does it contain ceramides?
The supplied INCI includes Glycosphingolipids and Glycolipids, but not the five individually named ceramides used in CERAFX. When richer ceramide and cholesterol care is the main priority, choose CERAFX.
Can I use it with vitamin C, acids or retinoids?
HYDRALITE can be used as the moisturising step in routines that contain these treatments. Follow the instructions for your active products and reduce frequency if your skin becomes uncomfortable.
Is HYDRALITE fragrance free?
The supplied INCI does not list Parfum or added essential oils. It does contain Benzyl Alcohol, so anyone with a known sensitivity should check the complete ingredient list.
Does HYDRALITE replace sunscreen?
No. It has no stated SPF and must not be presented as UV protection.
HYDRALITE or CERAFX?
Choose HYDRALITE when you want hydration and skin comfort in a lightweight fluid. Choose CERAFX for a richer cream with five named ceramides, Ceramosides HP, cholesterol, phytosterols and additional lipid mimetics.
